Check out this image of The Sun coming up over some distant peaks. It’s BLUE! It should be red. Sunrises on earth are always red or yellow or pink or golden. I know this, I just watched the sun rise over the Virginia range from my loving room in south Reno, nevada.
“Because we’re not on Earth. This is a Martian sunset. On May 19, 2005, the camera on NASA’s little robot, the rover named Spirit, took this picture while sitting in the Gusev crater on Mars. NASA snapped the photo, says the press release, “around 6:07 in the evening of the Rover’s 489th Martian day.”
It’s the same sun, though it does look a little smaller on mars because it’s farther away. It is also mostly the same mountains, Mars is made of different stuff, but it’s nothing we don’t also have here on Earth. Though there aren’t any pine trees, cowboys and racing camels like there are in Virginia City, Nevada…
