Here are three versions of a-ha’s song Take On Me that i find completely awesome. I was just a kid when this song was on the radio and the video was playing on the nascent MTV. So I’m stoked that my young son likes it a well.
Take on Accordians
A cover of a-ha’s Take On Me by a septet of North Korean accordionists.
a-ha’s eternal pop evergreen performed by young accordeon players from KUM SONG School, filmed in Pyongyang, North Korea december 2011. Part of multi-genre project THE PROMISED LAND by director and artist MORTEN TRAAVIK, opening at the international arts and culture festival Barents Spektakel in Kirkenes, Norway February 8-12, 2012 (Juche 101). Take on Me Literally
You can find literal versions of a lot of popular music videos. This one is great because what’s going on in the video, like most music videos, makes no sense and has little to no relation to the lyric. The new lyric just describes what is happening in the video. It’s hilarious.

This one is really cool too.

The band was founded by Morten Harket (vocals), Magne Furuholmen (keyboards), and Pål Waaktaar (guitars). The group initially rose to fame during the mid 1980s after being discovered by musician and producer John Ratcliff and had continued global success in the 1990s and 2000s. [Wikipedia]
