Hugh Herr is a Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Media Lab Biomechanics devision. He designs and makes artificial arms and legs, called prosthetics, for men and women who have lost arms or legs in accidents.

Conventional wisdom holds that loosing a leg, or both of them, limits your possibilities. Herr shows how creative people adapt and make an amazing life and contribution to society despite what you might, at first, consider to be limits.
