Someone shared this with me on Facebook. Looks like a fisherman went trolling with a GoPro on the hook. Apparently Halibut like electronics as much as I do.

The video was posted by Mossy’s Fly Shop on Facebook.

Halibut

Halibut is a large flat fish that grow to be about 11 – 13 KG on average, but halibut as large as 333 KG have been caught. The Homer Halibut in the Facebook post probably refers to the halibut that are caught off the coast of Homer Alaska. There is a halibut fishing derby there in the summer and fall that netted a 323.2 Lb fish this year.

I went deep sea fishing once and caught a very small halibut. It was tasty.

  • Monsterquest broadcast some video of a musky hitting a sucker. The video was recorded by the Ohio DNR and they set up some camera and attached it to the sucker harness. This video you share is making the teletubby appendage more interesting to myself.
